Manage Staff Members
Overview
Staff Management lets you add, edit, and delete staff members in the Unidiner back office. Use it to organize employee information, assign roles, and control access permissions within the system.
Add a Staff Member
- Go to the Staff Management page.
- Click + Add Staff Member in the top-right corner.
- In the Add New Staff Member popup, enter the required details.
- Complete the following sections:
- Basic Information: first name, last name, email, phone number, and password.
- Work Details: role, branch, and date of joining.
- Address Information: address line, city, state, country, and postal code.
- Employment & Salary Details: employment type, status, and salary.
- Click Add Staff Member to save the profile.
The email and password are used for staff login access.
Edit a Staff Member
- Open the Staff Management page.
- Locate the required staff member in the list.
- Click Edit in the employee card or actions section.
- Update the required information in the edit window.
- Click Save or Update to apply the changes.
Delete a Staff Member
- Go to the Staff Management page.
- Find the staff member you want to remove.
- Click Delete.
- Confirm the action in the popup.
- Click Confirm or Delete to permanently remove the staff member.
Note: Deleting a staff member may remove their system access and related permissions. Ensure the employee is inactive before deleting the profile.
Supervisor Access
While adding or editing a staff member, you can provide supervisor-level access by enabling the Supervisor option.
Steps to Enable Supervisor Access
- In the staff form, locate the Supervisor checkbox.
- Enable the checkbox to allow supervisor access for the staff member.
- Once enabled, the Supervisor Password field will appear.
- Enter the supervisor password in the required field.
- Complete the remaining staff details and save the changes.
Result
The staff member will receive supervisor-level access based on the assigned permissions.
Note: Only authorized staff members should be provided with supervisor access, as it allows access to restricted operational features.
