Add, Edit, and Delete Promotions

This article explains how to create, update, and delete promotions.

Add a Promotion

Follow these steps to create a new promotion:

  1. Go to Promotions.
  2. Click on Add Promotion.
  3. Enter the promotion details:
    • Title (mandatory) - Enter the promotion title.
    • Promotion Code (mandatory) - Enter a unique promotion code.
    • Promotion Type (mandatory) - Select the promotion type:
      • Percentage - Displays the Discount Percentage field. Enter the discount percentage.
      • Fixed Amount - Displays the Discount Amount field. Enter the fixed discount amount.
    • Start Date (mandatory) - Select the promotion start date.
    • End Date (mandatory) - Select the promotion end date.
    • Minimum Order Value (optional) - Enter the minimum order amount required to apply the promotion.
    • Status - Select the promotion status:
      • Active
      • Inactive
  4. Click Add to save the promotion.

Active promotions will be available in the POS.

Edit a Promotion

Follow these steps to update an existing promotion:

  1. Go to Promotions.
  2. Find the promotion you want to edit.
  3. Click Edit.
  4. Make the required changes.
  5. Click Update to save the changes.

Delete a Promotion

Follow these steps to delete a promotion:

  1. Go to Promotions.
  2. Find the promotion you want to delete.
  3. Click Delete.
  4. A confirmation message will appear.
  5. Click Delete to confirm.

The promotion will be removed from the list.

Notes

  • Only active promotions will reflect in the POS.
  • Ensure the promotion code is unique to avoid conflicts.
