What is this module?​

The Sales Report module provides a comprehensive view of the restaurant's financial performance over specific periods. It serves as a detailed ledger for managers to analyze sales data, track individual order statuses, and perform post-transaction actions such as re-printing invoices or processing customer refunds.

Key Metrics (KPIs)​

  • Total Orders: The specific count of orders placed within the selected date range.
  • Average Order Value: The average revenue generated per individual order, useful for analyzing spending habits.
  • Total Customers: The unique count of customers served during the period.

Configuration Checklist​

  • User Permissions: Ensure managers have view_sales_reports and process_refunds permissions.
  • Supervisor Credentials: Ensure supervisors have valid Staff IDs and passwords for authorizing refunds.
  • Printer Setup: Verify that a thermal printer is connected for invoice re-printing.
