How to Monitor Sales and Order Status

Overview

Monitoring sales and order status gives you a real-time snapshot of your restaurant's financial health and operational efficiency. This guide explains how to interpret the key sales and order metrics on your dashboard.

Prerequisites

  • Subscription Plan: Lite, Plus, or Max
  • User Permission Required: view_dashboard, view_sales_data

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. View Total Sales Metrics Look at the Total Sales card on the top left of the dashboard.

    • Total Sales: The sum of all orders placed during the selected period.
    • Delivered Order Sales: Revenue generated from completed and delivered orders.
    • Pending Order Sales: Revenue from orders that are currently in progress or not yet finalized.
  2. Check Order Volume Look at the Total Orders card to see the raw count of orders received. This helps gauge the overall traffic volume.

  3. Monitor Active vs. Completed Orders

    • Active Orders: Shows the number of orders currently being prepared or out for delivery. This is useful for monitoring current kitchen load.
    • Completed Orders: Shows the number of successfully finished orders along with the Completion Rate percentage.
  4. Analyze Cancellations Scroll down to the Order Status Overview pie chart.

    • Green Section: Represents Delivered orders.
    • Red Section: Represents Cancelled orders.
    • Action: Hover over the sections to see the exact counts and percentages for each status.

Outcome

You will have a clear understanding of your current revenue, order volume, and operational success rate (completion vs. cancellation).
