Payment Methods Management

What is this module?

The Payment Methods section allows restaurant administrators to manage the various ways customers can pay for their orders. Proper configuration ensures that all financial transactions are categorized correctly for accounting, reconciliation, and reporting purposes.

Key Features

  • View Modes: Toggle between Grid View and Table View to display the list of payment methods.
  • Search: Quickly find specific payment methods using the search bar.
  • Default Methods: The system comes pre-configured with standard methods:
    • Cash & Cards: Standard physical payments.
    • Loyalty Points: Redemption of points accumulated via the loyalty program.
    • Customer Credit (Settle Dues): For accepting payment against a customer's pending balance or placing orders on credit.
    • Third-party Aggregators: Tracks payments from external delivery platforms (e.g., Talabat, Uber Eats).

Configuration Checklist

  • Review Default Methods: Ensure standard methods (Cash, Card) are active.
  • Add Custom Methods: Create methods for specific needs (e.g., Vouchers, specific Delivery Apps).
  • Verify Payment Types: Ensure each method is mapped to the correct type (Cash, Online, Due, Loyalty).
