How to Delete a Payment Method
Overview
If a payment method is no longer accepted (e.g., you stopped using a specific delivery partner), you can remove it from the system to keep your reporting clean.
Prerequisites
- User Permission Required:
manage_payment_methods - Note: You may not be able to delete payment methods that have historical transactions associated with them. In that case, consider deactivating them instead.
Step-by-Step Guide

Locate the Payment Method Navigate to Platform Settings > Payment Methods and find the method you wish to remove.

Initiate Deletion Click the Red "Trash Can" (Delete) icon in the Actions column.

Confirm Deletion A confirmation dialog box will appear asking: "Are you sure you want to delete this item?"
- Click OK to permanently delete the method.
- Click Cancel if you wish to keep it.
Outcome
The payment method is removed from the list and will no longer be available.
