Chart of Accounts

Location: Back Office > Platform Settings > General > Chart Of Accounts

Overview

The Chart of Accounts module helps businesses manage and monitor all financial activities within the system. It organizes transactions into accounting categories such as revenue, expenses, liabilities, cash registers, bank accounts, accounts receivable, accounts payable, taxes, discounts, and inventory-related financial records.

This module provides visibility into financial operations and supports reporting, auditing, reconciliation, and daily accounting tasks.

Accessing the Module

  1. Log in to the application.
  2. Navigate to Platform Settings.
  3. Open General.
  4. Click on Chart Of Accounts.
  5. Select the required category from the left-side menu.

Cash Registers

Overview

The Cash Registers section is used to monitor and manage cash-related transactions across branches and POS registers.

It helps track:

  • Debit and credit entries

Features

View Cash Registers

Users can:

  • View register details
  • Check transaction history
  • Monitor balances
  • Verify debit and credit movements
  • View before and after balances

Create Ledger Entry

Users can create a new ledger entry by:

  1. Clicking Create New Ledger Entry
  2. Selecting the transaction type
  3. Selecting the operated staff member
  4. Entering the amount
  5. Saving the transaction

Supported Transaction Types

  • Branch -> Register (Opening)
  • Register -> Branch (Closing)

Branch Cash Holds

Overview

Branch Cash Holds helps businesses track branch-level cash availability and holdings.

  • View branch cash balances
  • Add branch cash hold entries
  • Monitor branch-wise cash distribution
  • Search branch records
  • Export reports

Add Cash Hold

Users can:

  1. Click Add Cash Hold
  2. Select the branch
  3. Enter the amount
  4. Save the entry

View Cash Details

Users can:

  • Check branch-wise balances
  • Monitor total cash holdings
  • View updated cash amounts

Bank Accounts

Overview

The Bank Accounts section is used to manage company bank accounts and related information.

Add Bank Account

Users can add bank accounts using:

  • Account Number
  • Account Holder Name
  • IFSC/SWIFT Code
  • Bank Name

Accounts Receivable

Overview

Accounts Receivable tracks all pending customer dues and unpaid customer orders.
