How to Add, Edit, and Delete Delivery Policies

Location: Back Office > Platform Settings > General > Delivery Policies

Overview

This article explains how to create, update, and delete delivery policies.

Add a Delivery Policy

Follow these steps to create a new delivery policy:

  1. Go to Delivery Policies.
  2. Click on Add Policy.
  3. Enter the delivery policy details:

Policy & Applicability

  • Name Enter the delivery policy name.

  • Status Select the policy status.

  • Outlet Fee Enter the outlet fee amount.

Order Value Rules

  • Minimum Order Amount Enter the minimum order value required for delivery.

  • Free Delivery Minimum (optional) Enter the minimum order amount eligible for free delivery.

Base/Standard Zone

  • Base Distance (km) Enter the base delivery distance.

  • Base Delivery Charge Enter the delivery charge for the base distance.

  • Maximum Delivery Radius (km) Enter the maximum delivery radius allowed.

Additional Charge Model (Beyond Base Zone)

Select the pricing model for deliveries beyond the base distance.

Radius Based (Per KM)

If Radius Based (Per KM) is selected:

  • Enter Rate Per Extra KM

Distance Tier (Tiered Pricing)

If Distance Tier (Tiered Pricing) is selected:

  1. Click on Add Tier.

  2. Enter:

    • From KM
    • To KM
    • Fee Per KM

You can add multiple tiers as required.

Time Based (Per Minute)

If Time Based (Per Minute) is selected:

  • Enter Free Delivery Time (Minutes)
  • Enter Rate Per Extra Minute

Convenience/Platform Fee

If Convenience Fee is enabled:

  • Fee Type Select the fee type.

  • Fee Value Enter the fee amount or percentage.

  • Applies On Select where the convenience fee should be applied.

  1. Click on Add Policy to save the delivery policy.

The delivery policy will be added successfully.

Edit a Delivery Policy

Follow these steps to update an existing delivery policy:

  1. Go to Delivery Policies.
  2. Find the policy you want to edit.
  3. Click on Edit.
  4. Make the required changes.
  5. Click Update to save the changes.

Delete a Delivery Policy

Follow these steps to delete a delivery policy:

  1. Go to Delivery Policies.
  2. Find the policy you want to delete.
  3. Click on Delete.
  4. A confirmation message will appear.
  5. Click Delete to confirm.

The delivery policy will be removed from the list.
