Manage Tax Scenarios

Overview

Tax Scenarios define how tax is calculated across orders, items, discounts, and surcharges in Unidiner. Use this module to create, update, or remove tax rules that are then applied in Branch Settings and POS.

Add a Tax Scenario

  1. Go to the Tax Scenarios page.
  2. Click + Add Tax Scenario in the top-right corner.
  3. In the Add Tax Scenario popup, enter the required details:
    • Rule Title - Enter the name of the tax scenario.
    • Rule Type - Select the required tax type.
    • Discount Application - Choose how discounts should be applied.
    • Tax Type - Select the applicable tax calculation type.
    • Surcharge Application - Choose the surcharge option if required.
  4. Under Tax Slabs, add the tax percentages:
    • Click + Map to add a new slab row.
    • Enter the Name and Rate for each slab.
    • Use the Delete icon beside a row to remove an unwanted slab.
  5. After entering all details, click Submit to save the tax scenario.

Edit a Tax Scenario

  1. Open the Tax Scenarios page.
  2. Locate the required tax scenario from the list.
  3. Click the Edit icon under the Actions column.
  4. Update the required information in the popup window.
  5. Click Submit to save the changes.

Delete a Tax Scenario

  1. Go to the Tax Scenarios page.
  2. Find the tax scenario you want to remove.
  3. Click the Delete icon under the Actions column.
  4. A confirmation popup will appear.
  5. Click Yes to permanently delete the tax scenario.
