Overview
This article explains how to add, edit, cancel, and process reservations in the Unidiner back office.
Add a Reservation
Follow these steps to create a new reservation:
- Go to Reservations.
- Click Add.
- Enter the reservation details:
- Select Customer (mandatory): Select an existing customer from the list or search by customer name or phone number.
- Add/Edit Customer: Add a new customer or edit customer details from the same page if required.
- Select Date (mandatory): Choose the reservation date.
- Select Time (mandatory): Choose the reservation time.
- Number of Guests (mandatory): Enter the total number of guests.
- Notes (optional): Add any additional notes or special instructions.
- Click Add to save the reservation.
The reservation will be added successfully.
Edit a Reservation
Follow these steps to update an existing reservation:
- Go to Reservations.
- Find the reservation you want to edit.
- Click Edit.
- Make the required changes.
- Click Update to save the changes.
Cancel a Reservation
Follow these steps to cancel a reservation:
- Go to Reservations.
- Find the reservation you want to cancel.
- Click Cancel.
The reservation status will be updated accordingly.
Process a Reservation
After adding a reservation, a Process button will be available.
- Go to Reservations.
- Find the required reservation.
- Click Process.
The system will redirect you to the POS screen to continue order processing for the reservation.
