Stock Management (Main Warehouse)

Overview

This is the operational dashboard showing live stock levels, expiry dates (lots), and tools to transfer or adjust stock across storage locations.

Guide 1: Viewing Stock & Batches (Lots)

  1. View List: The main table shows Current Quantity, Minimum Quantity, and Cost Per Unit.
  2. View Batches: Click the List/Eye Icon next to an item to view batch numbers, expiry dates, available qty, and cost.
  3. Search: Filter batches by date range to find expiring lots.

Guide 2: Recording Wastage (Stock Adjustment)

  1. Initiate Adjustment: Click the +/- Icon (Adjust Stock) next to the item.
  2. Select Type: Choose Wastage from the dropdown.
  3. Select Reason: Pick a reason (e.g., Expired, Damaged).
  4. Select Batch: Select the specific batch affected (FIFO logic applies when selecting the default).
  5. Enter Quantity: Input amount wasted (e.g., 5 kg).
  6. Save: Click SUBMIT — stock reduces immediately.

Guide 3: Transferring Stock (Internal Movements)

  1. Initiate Transfer: Click the Transfer button at the top right.
  2. Select Destination: Choose the receiving location (e.g., Italian Kitchen).
  3. Select Item & Batch: Pick the item and the batch to move.
  4. Enter Quantity: Type the amount to transfer.
  5. Add More Items: Use (+) to add multiple items to a single transfer slip.
  6. Finalize: Click TRANSFER.

Guide 4: Viewing Item History

  1. Click History: Click the Clock/History Icon next to an item.
  2. Review Log: View Purchases, Production deductions, Transfers, and Wastage events.
  3. Filter: Use filters to narrow the timeline to specific event types.
