Future Booking Orders
Overview: Future Booking Orders
The Future Booking Orders feature allows the restaurant to accept and manage orders scheduled for a later date or time (for example, a catering order next week or a birthday pre-order).
To keep the main operations dashboard uncluttered, these orders are separated from the "Current Orders" list until they are ready to be processed.
Key Features
- Dedicated Tab: Future orders live in a specific section, accessible via the toggle at the top of the dashboard.
- Delivery Date Indicator: Each card clearly displays the Delivery Date (e.g., 11/12/2025) so staff know when the order is due.
- Full Functionality: You can Modify, Pay, or Cancel future bookings at any time prior to the due date.

Notes & Best Practices
- Use advance payments for large bookings to reduce no-shows.
- Confirm bookings a day before the delivery date to verify menu availability and staffing.
- Future bookings transition to the regular order workflow once confirmed — all normal rules (KOT printing, inventory deduction) apply.
