Overview: Order Details Panel
The View Details feature provides a comprehensive, 360-degree view of any specific transaction. While the dashboard card gives a quick summary, the View Details panel is where managers investigate specifics — for example checking whether a particular burger has started cooking, reviewing tax breakdowns, or reprinting lost tickets.

- Deep-Dive Tabs: Information is organized into Order Summary, Items, and Payment Details.
- Item-Level Status: Track the cooking progress of individual dishes within a single order.
- Digital Sharing: Share the receipt directly with customers via WhatsApp.
- Selective KOT Reprint: Reprint kitchen tickets for specific items only.
How-to Guides
Guide 1: Accessing the Order Details Panel
Objective: Open the full information view for a specific order.
- Navigate: Go to the Order Management dashboard.
- Select Order: Locate the order card you wish to inspect.
- Click View Details: Click the VIEW DETAILS button at the bottom of the card.
- The Slide-out Panel: A panel opens from the right containing three main tabs.
Guide 2: Tab 1 - Order Summary (Financials & Logistics)
Objective: Review the financial breakdown, tax calculations, and customer contact info.
The default tab is Order Summary. It contains:
- Order Status: Tag showing Pending, Confirmed, or Delivered.
- Charges Summary: Subtotal, VAT/Tax (inclusive/exclusive flag), and Total.
- Customer Information: Customer name and phone number.
- Order Details: Service Type (Pick-up/Dine-in), Delivery Partner or Table Number, and timestamps for order placement.
Guide 3: Tab 2 - Items (Kitchen Progress)
Objective: Check exactly what the customer ordered and the cooking status of each dish.
Click the Items tab to view:
- Item Breakdown: List of all dishes with variations and modifiers.
- Notes: Special instructions (e.g., "More Chocolate").
- Individual Item Status: Each item shows its own status (Pending, Preparing, Ready, Delivered). This helps when part of an order is ready while other items are not.
Guide 4: Tab 3 - Payment Details (Transaction History)
Objective: Verify if the order is paid and see how it was settled.
Click the Payment Details tab to view:
- Payment Status: Paid or Pending.
- Tip Amount: Any gratuity added.
- Total Paid: Amount collected.
- Payment Breakdown: Mode(s) of payment (Cash, Card, Wallet) with amounts per method.
Guide 5: Action Icons (Reprinting & Sharing)
Objective: Reprint tickets, print invoice, or share the receipt digitally.
At the top-right of the Details Panel are three action icons:
- Print Invoice (Printer Icon): Generates and prints the customer receipt.
- Reprint KOT (Paper Icon): Reprint kitchen tickets. A small popup lets you choose All Items or Specific Items before reprinting.
- WhatsApp Share (WhatsApp Icon): Send a digital copy of the order summary/receipt to the customer's phone via WhatsApp.
Notes & Troubleshooting
- If a reprinted KOT doesn't appear in the kitchen, verify the KOT printer mapping for that station in Platform Settings.
- Use Item-Level Status to confirm whether items shown as Preparing have had inventory deducted (see Kitchen Management (KDS)).
